Stone Rose is a country house located on over 100 acres between the historic and panoramic Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys of upstate New York. Our pristine valleys provide some of the loveliest scenery in the world. The Adirondack and Catskill Mountain ranges to the north and south are just an hour drive away.

 
A destination in itself, Stone Rose offers two lovely accommodations with old fashioned home cooking at equitable rates and most importantly, genuine hospitality to all. The many historical, cultural and entertaining venues located nearby will make any visit a memorable time.

We are easily accessed from the N.Y.S. Thruway I-90, I-88 and U.S. route 20.

Open year round, the inn is family owned and operated by life-long area residents, Chuck and Lynda. Lynda's mother, Frances also resides at Stone Rose with her friendly Cairn terrier - named Scruffy, our in-house mascot.

The Garden View Room with private bath is a cozy room with wall to wall carpeting features furniture and artwork crafted by local artisan living in the Mohawk and Schoharie valleys. 

 The Garden View overlooks the beauty of the stone and rose gardens as well as the meandering Fly Creek. The queen bed with Englander mattress, down comforter and fluffy pillows is framed by a curtained pine valance.  The sitting area offers a desk with chair and two Lazy Boy recliners. Satellite T.V. fridge and microwave included.

The Suite with private bath is a two room deluxe accommodation ideal for those special occasions or those needing separate sleeping areas.

 The Suite offers a beautiful view, overlooking the ponds, and rolling hills of Corbin Hill.  Rich cherry, walnut and pine woods accent the entire suite.

 The Parlor features a fireplace, a full size, pull-out sofa bed, coffee table, Lazy Boy rocker and armoire. Satellite T.V., fridge and microwave included.

The Bedroom has a Deluxe Natural Latex Englander mattress with down comforters and pillow, table, chairs and armoire. Another Satellite T.V. is in the bedroom.
