The Shops at 25 West is located on the 2nd floor over the Little Falls Antique Center in Canal Place. This is a very unique collection of over 25 boutiques that include natural, organic and locally made items. There is also a Bookstore featuring local history and authors, Alpaca products as well as Middle Eastern products. From the Shops at 25 West is a short enjoyable walk to the highest lock, Lock 17, on the Erie Canal. The Shops at 25 West is open everyday from 10AM - 5PM. It is worth the trip!

Directions to Canal Place

From the West:

• Take NYS Thruway (Route I-90) east to Exit 30 (Herkimer).

• Turn left at light, cross the river, and turn left onto Route 5S.

• Travel east to Route 167 North....turn left onto Rt. 167.

• At the stop sign on the bridge over the river, turn right down ramp.

• You are there!

From the East:

• Take NYS Thruway (Route I-90) west to Exit 29A (Little Falls).

• Proceed through toll booth and along the river to traffic light.

• Turn left at light onto Routes 5 & 167. 

• Go through second traffic light, turn right onto 167 South.

• Pass McDonald's, turn right to cross over bridge.

• At stop sign on bridge, turn left down ramp.
