Higher Ground is a 130 acre working family farm with sheep, chickens, bees and cattle. We also grow Berries and vegetables. Our guests enjoy strolling around perennial beds, picking berries, feeding animals, hiking in the fields and woods, paddling through wetlands. or just relaxing in the porch swing. In winter, cross country ski or curl up by the woodstove and read. Built in the 1840's as an Inn, the house is furnished in period antiques.
Breakfast includes homegrown food featuring our own lamb sausage and honey jams with ready adoption to vegetarian and special diets.

Room with Double bed and private whirlpool bath. - $90. Double occupancy
Room with Single bed and shared bath ( Can be suite with room above ). - $45. Single occupancy.
