Come relax in Victorian elegance in this 1865 romantic bed and breakfast getaway, located in Upstate Central New York, at Exit 30 of the NYS Thruway, just a four hour drive from Niagara Falls, NYC, or Boston. Originally built by the prominent Bellinger family, our inn provides the Victorian grace and charm of another era. Experience a place “somewhere in time” complete with a grand staircase, marble fireplaces, period furnishings, and grand player piano. Listen to song selections from the grand player piano music library of over 1000 songs. Enjoy one of over 150 movies from our DVD library in our surround sound theater room, or in the comfort of your room. In keeping with the name, a romantic theme of roses adorns the four antique filled guest bedrooms, all with private baths, and some with working fireplaces and in-suite Jacuzzi tubs. Room amenities include TV, DVD player, wireless internet, CD player, air-conditioning, individual heat thermostats, plush robes and Crabtree & Evelyn soaps. Full breakfast by candlelight is served daily, between 7-9:30AM. Guests select from a full breakfast menu each evening for the next AM. Complete your stay by taking advantage of a late evening massage, and/or relax in the full size hot tub. Full massage therapy services are available onsite through Christyl Touch Massage. Victorian Rose Room - Sunlit and enchanting, the Victorian Rose room is a charming reminder of days gone by. Gracing the room, a queen size brass bed with handmade quilted comforter provides a comfortable night's sleep. A free standing working ceramic gas fireplace provides an added air of romance to the room. Its private bath completes the room with brass fixtures, corner shower and pedestal sink.
Heritage Rose Room - Comfortable and cozy, the Heritage Rose room offers a peaceful night's sleep in a queen size bed with exquisitely detailed Croscill linens in shades of sage and apricot. Its unique headboard was fashioned from a New York Brownstone walnut fireplace mantle. Marble top walnut chests compliment the room. Its private bath offers a full tub and shower combo and original wainscoting trim.
Crimson Rose Room - Victorian regal charm is yours in our Crimson Rose room, decorated in rich crimson and gold tones adorning period furnishings. While both luxurious and intimate, the Crimson Rose room offers a finely detailed handmade queen brass bed with a Tempurpedic mattress and stunning corner working gas fireplace. Its lavish private bath with 2 pedestal sinks also include a handsome claw foot Jacuzzi tub with room enough for two.
Full breakfast by Candlelight is Served Daily 7-10am. Guests select from a full breakfast menu each evening for the next AM. Catering to those with big and small appetites, selections include such items as omelets and waffles, or simple bagels and coffee. Sweet sounds from live piano music, serenades from Sunny, the resident canary, along with pleasant conversation help make your dining experience here at Bellinger Rose a memorable one.

From the North:
Route 28 South to Herkimer. Take a right (West) at Route 5 intersection. Turn right at light at the new McDonalds, just prior to Wal-Mart onto North Caroline Street. Take a left onto West German Street. Home is first house on left. There is a wrought iron fence in front. Please park in driveway to the right of fence.
From the South:
Route 28 North to Herkimer. Follow signs to intersection of Route 5. At intersection continue straight onto North Caroline Street. Take a left onto West German Street. Home is first house on left. There is a wrought iron fence in front. Please park in driveway to the right of fence.
From the East:
Route 5 West to Herkimer Continue through lights until North Caroline Street. Take right on to North Caroline Street. Take a left onto West German Street. Home is first house on left. There is a wrought iron fence in front. Please park in driveway to the right of fence.
